Bugs - RTFM

I recently found out of a bug in my SimpleBackup software that it simply failed to start.

The exception that was thrown is:

"Unable to load DLL 'SQLite.Interop.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E)

The reason for this is that the Visual C++ Redistributable Package was not installed on the computer.

I suggest, if this bug has occurred to download the package from Microsoft:

I'm somewhat sorry about this bug.. and will be fixing it for the programs to start use statically linked System.Data.SQLite configuration.

There are two types of country (and other) flags in the library: flat and "lovely glossy finish".

The size of the compiled library is only ~ 4 MB.

Changelog

  • Fixed exception when getting a message without parameters. This message will now be returned without internal string.Format.

LangLib Update v.1.0.0.2

Hi,

I released an update to the LangLib to version 1.0.0.2

Changelog

  • Added new method DBLangEngine class: List<CultureInfo> GetLocalizedCultures().

LangLib released

During the release of the SimpleBackup i promised that the localization system of the software will be released

within a few weeks. It got delayed, as there were too many iterations for different GUI component types and

some special handling were required for ToolsStrips and such. Also xaml support was missing.

It now supports the entire component .NET 4.51 component palette for both WinForms and WPF applications.

I'll be releasing usage instruction and a product page within a few days.

The files can be downloaded from the downloads. Note that this product is licensed under the terms of the General Public License v3.
